Ngawha springs
NGAWHA SPRINGS
Well we eated and heated.
Great turnout for a such unusual event. But weren’t those pools magnificent on the old body.
We met in Kaikohe KFC and decided to buy the "Family" pack and head to the grounds of the springs for a picnic dinner.
Great imagination was applied as KFC forgot to supply spoons and serviettes. Cardboard and lid spoons were adapted on the night and seemed adequate.
Everyone mixed and mingled in the pools and the conversation never stopped.

6.30pm meet at Kentucky Fried Chicken Main Road Kaikohe.
7.30 a swim at the minerals pools at Ngawha. We will be at The Ginns motel complex pools ,as you are heading thru the township head straight on ,down the long metal driveway and the pool complex is on the right. Cost for the pools is $5.00.

TOAST BAR THE MALL PAIHIA
If anyone is around Paihia on a Sunday afternoon looking for a place to have a quiet drink,we have selected the Toast Bar as a central location to meet after 3.00pm. This will commence labour weekend ( 22 Oct) and will be on a two weekly basis.
Ngawha springs A hot springs complex with reputedly beneficial effects. The therapeutic mercurial waters of Ngawha Springs health spa are in a small thermal area to the east of Kaikohe.
