It just goes to prove you do not need alcohol or other stimulants to have a great time. So many of the fabulous people from the Bay turned up for Sunday Brunch at The Blue Water Bistro in Opua there could not be anybody left to walk the streets.
Gay guys and gals (including two new faces from upt’ north a little bit and a fresh faced lad from Whangarei who were welcomed into the fold) met for a thoroughly sociable late breakfast for some and early lunch for others. Laughter, banter, and intercourse (of the social kind) went on for several hours and rounded off with a resounding ‘Happy Birthday’ for Bill who let it slip it was his birthday and admitted to being 21 + GST years old.
Champagne corks popped and had a smashing time as they ploughed into the glasses hanging above the bar, Opps did I say something about not needing alcohol!!!! Suffice to say yet again another thoroughly enjoyable meeting of those wonderful, fabulously queer guys in the Bay of Islands.
Everybody is welcome to join in the repeat of last years fantastic Car Rally next month. Note the date has been changed to Sunday 4th November. Look out for your Roving Rainbow Reporter on this event. I will be the one in the 6-wheel car. NOTE:- It’s a repeat of the event not the course and final destination in case you think it might be.
