A small portion of the guys and gals of the bay turned out for the movie and meal evening at Café Cinema on Monday evening. 14 of us enjoyed ‘The Bucket List’ and a feed at the Café. We welcomed a young gentleman by the name of Crystal who came all the way from the South Island. He is currently house sitting for Stan & Steve whilst they enjoy themselves around Europe. (Did anybody warn Europe what was coming?)
Hey - did you know we have a yobbo in our gang? Armed with a bag of Pop corn one of our charming girls managed to start a riot as she chomped and chewed and crunched her crinkly wrapping. Mind you a knight in a shining Bentley jumped to her verbal defense and the aggressor quietened down as the film rolled on. The situation was tense for a while and at least one of the gang was so frightened her hair turned snow white.
The entertainment did not end when the film finished. Moving to the car park for our journeys home we were treated to a display of top class driving as Michael crashed the gears of his little sporty car. Apparently he has been practicing gear changes by stirring a bowl of porridge. Don’t worry you will work it out soon Michael.
See you all at next months Mid Winters Christmas party. Get your tickets and book yourself in for a great night.
